Watching the white stuff blow around outside, my kiddos laugh at the little birds hopping around leaving tiny tracks. The trucks from the power company are parked on the side of the road, workers scratching their heads over the huge conifer lying across their path. The wind tears through the complex parking lot, rattling windows and destroying wind chimes, churning what's already fallen into billowing clouds of fluff. Just another beautiful day in Tahoe. No, seriously. I love winters in the basin. ^__^ Having not grown up with snow and the cold, I have a fascination for it. I can't wait until it's deep enough to bundle up the kids and toss them in.

Update on school:

Passed my Illustrator final with a 91%- sorry there's nothing to post from it. I didn't get to do any fun projects like with Photoshop, just a written test. I think since it was just a 2-week course, it was just to cover the basic aspects of the program and allow me to approach it's use on the most practical level. I have every intention of completing the textbook, though. The way I see it, the better I know the program, the better my opportunities for employment.

Starting Flash next week. Again, just a 2-week course, but it's a start. Then I'll be finished with the "Design" portion of my course for the most part. After Flash I start on HTML. Wish me luck. ^__^o
